Chapter Meeting - Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church's Journey to Reconilliation

After a global vote to strengthen a ban on same sex marriage and LGBTQ clergy in the United Methodist Church, our local Mount Horeb United Methodist Church voted to join the Reconciling Ministries Network, welcoming everyone regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity and gender expression. Suzi Arnston will share the history of the church’s journey to become a reconciling congregation. In addition, two members of the church will share the testimonies they gave at the church’s Town Hall Meetings. Please join us for a thoughtful conversation about the evolution of church doctrine.
