Intro to Clay (6 session course)

Join Us at Adamah Art Studios for a 6 - Session Intro to Pottery Course! 

Class Details

Class Fee: Includes unlimited clay during class time and the opportunity to keep up to 10 finished pieces.

Session Structure:

Class 1: Introduction to the studio, clay wedging, and hand-building basics.
Class 2: Review of hand-building techniques with a focus on creating cylinders and cups.
Class 3: Introduction to centering and throwing basics
Class 4: Review of wheel throwing techniques with a focus on creating cylinders and cups.
Class 5: Instruction on trimming and finishing wet work.
Class 6: Glazing techniques and final touches on your projects.

Additional Visit: One visit is required post-class to pick up your finished work.

Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 17 years old. Those aged 14 - 16 may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Policies:

Cancellation: Receive a full refund if canceled 15 days before the first class. A 50% refund is available if canceled 10 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this period, and a 5% service fee will apply.

If you miss a class, a quick make-up session is available 30-minutes before or after pre-scheduled ongoing classes. (must be arranged prior to class)

Preparation Tips:
Participants with long nails are advised to trim them before the course.
Wear clothes suitable for getting messy.
