Sunset Picnic and Music with Gaines and Wagoner

A warm up event for A Breath of Fresh Art, featuring the energizing music of Gaines and Wagoner, on Wednesday, August 21, 6:00-9:00 p.m at Primrose Retreat (1261 County Rd. U, Verona, WI 53593)

Bring your own picnic and beverage of choice, a blanket or chair. We’ll be in the open air amphitheater behind Primrose Barn. If there is inclement weather, we will go inside. We’ll celebrate “Democracy in Life and Art.”

Anne Katz, Director of Create Wisconsin, the state’s community cultural development organization, will join us at the event. Create Wisconsin is leading the way to advocate for statewide growth in economic vitality, education for the 21st century, vibrant communities, and civic engagement, through the arts and creativity. Anne will speak about Wisconsin’s amazing creative economy and the need for people who care about Wisconsin’s future to take action for increased investment in Wisconsin’s amazing creative people, organizations, businesses, and communities to vote in this year’s impactful elections and be involved in our democratic process.

Suggested minimum donation $15. Pay at the event. Cash, check, Venmo. Funds collected go directly toward paying artists participating in A Breath of Fresh Art. Reservations encouraged.
