    Ingleside Communities is seeking to hire Certified Nursing Assistants to provide quality care to our residents under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. The Nursing Assistant completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position.

    Shift/Hours Ingleside is currently seeking to hire CNAs for:
    • AM SHIFT 6:00am - 2:30pm
    • PM SHIFT 2:00pm - 10:30pm
    • NOC SHIFT 10:00pm - 6:30am

    QUIALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
    • Current state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant, though the facility offers the CNA class and will train you with paid on-the-job hands on practice
    • CPR Certified
    • Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
     
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS:
    • Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
    • Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
    • Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
    • Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
    • Documents results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
    • Nutritional care, including:
      • serving resident trays
      • assisting residents with eating
      • encouraging adequate intake as directed
      • recording intake as directed
      • watching for and reporting to Charge Nurse changes in resident appetite and intake and ability to eat
    • Ensure effective communication with residents and families.
