News Release: The EarthHouse Celebrates One Year of Business in Mount Horeb

Mount Horeb, WI — The Mount Horeb Chamber of Commerce is excited to recognize Pam, owner and proprietor of The EarthHouse, on the business’s first anniversary as a beloved Airbnb destination in Mount Horeb. Since its opening, The EarthHouse has welcomed numerous guests from all over the country, offering them a unique and tranquil escape to experience the charm of our quintessential small town, all while staying just a few short blocks from the heart of downtown.

Nestled into the hillside, The EarthHouse is a one-of-a-kind home with deep roots in history. Originally built in the 1940s as an earth home, it received a second story in the 1990s, which now serves as the current dwelling for Pam and her husband Graham as well as their amazing  dog, Roman. The original earth home, however, remains a separate, distinct space, which guests are invited to experience as part of the Airbnb offering.

The EarthHouse blends comfort, style, and cozy charm. Guests are welcomed into a space filled with luxurious linens, cozy throws, and furniture designed for ultimate relaxation. With a beautifully eclectic design and floor-to-ceiling style, The EarthHouse offers both comfort and elegance. The space is notably cool during warm weather and warm and inviting in the colder months, making it an ideal year-round retreat. A secret closet door leads from the bedroom to the bathroom and kitchen area, adding a whimsical touch to the design.
